Protein Shakes- maybe not such a good idea
The latest Consumer Reports issue is out & has some disturbing facts about protein powders. All of the powders they tested had some level of arsenic, cadmium, lead or mercury (or all 4). The amounts listed here are present in 3 servings, an amount that many manufacturers promote as healthy. The results in bold are at or over the maximum recommended amount for an ADULT per day.
