We created this text-editor for our own internal use and decided that other folks might enjoy it as well.
Jegas Edit is a 32bit Windows application. Note: Linux Version is only a compiling session away!

Language Support
JegasEdit can be "taught" new languages, like U-Script (UDK from Unreal), DarkBasic Pro (The Game Creators), Boo(Unity) and more. But out of the Box JegasEdit supports the following:

JegasEdit and Unreal's UDK
We recently tried and were successful at configuring JegasEdit to color syntax, compile and launch UDK projects - specifically UnrealScript. UDK is the Unreal Development Kit which is a proprietary software "kit" used for making Games and Simulation software.
Just download JegasEdit, make a new programming language entry (in menu Tools->Options in the language tab. We have tutorials on making a new language are covered in Jegas Edit - 2 of 3 - Configuration How-To - Editor, Languages, and External Tools on YouTube. (below are more) Next you add the UnrealScript keywords, set up the "Compile" command and "Run" commands - and you're off!
Contact us if you need more help - we might add more info about it here if its needed. Oh and the compile output appears right inside a window pane in jegasedit making it fairly slick. Add UCodeX utility and the UDK - and you're ready to rock and roll!

Installation:
- xp: Just download this high contrast configuration and save it in your C:\Documents and Settings\[Your User Name HERE ]\Local Settings\Application Data\ and rename it to jegaseditor.cfg
- vista/windows 7: Just download this high contrast configuration and save it in your C:\Users\[Your User Name HERE ]\Local Settings\Application Data\ and rename it to jegaseditor.cfg
- Linux: xp: Just download this high contrast configuration and save it in your home folder and rename it to jegaseditor.cfg
Note: If you already have a configuration file you will need to rename it or delete before you can install this new configuration file.
