How this project got started

We set up one of our clients with vTigerCRM for his small business. It's great, he loves it... but it doesn't connect with his QuickBooks®. In order for him to actually use vTigerCRM effectively, he needs us to make these two programs talk to each other. So we did some Googling for an application that could do the job and nothing came up. We did find a vTigerCRM thread where many developers indicated they were starting to work on it, but the dates were all old. So we decided to rectify the situation by WRITING ONE OURSELVES!

Most of our vTigerCRM/QuickBooks® customers are small businesses and none of them can bear the cost of development by themselves. So, Jason, founder & owner of Jegas, LLC, has started writing software on his own time which will translate & move information back & forth between QuickBooks® & vTigerCRM. He also plans to take it further by adding support in subsequent releases for other CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Goldmine, and SalesLogix. When the vTiger integration with QuickBooks® is completed, Jegas, LLC will sell per-user licenses for $175.00 with optional installation, technical support & maintenence agreements also.

 

We Need Your Help!!!

This kind of in-depth coding takes highly focused effort & time on our part; if we're spending much of that valuable time going out to small jobs to cover the bills, it is very to pick back up & get to that same level of intensity. We want to get this done. You want the product. If we can gather enough businesses who are willing to pay the licensing fee up front, we can focus ALL of our efforts on this software, and everyone gets what they want. To facilitate this, we will discount the license fee from $175 per user to $100 per user for the integration software AND provide 1 year of FREE technical support once the final product is released. Technical support will also be free during the beta testing phase for customers willing to get started sooner than later. In fact - customers who employ the beta releases and work with us will have our ear for suggestions and will help form the final product!

This project's source code base (JAS) already contains exactly 43959 lines of working code by last count (Note: Other code and development has occurred through April that is related to the project also.), 3000 of them (give or take) are directly related to this integration! Jegas, LLC's owner, Jason P Sage, is personally developing this code himself. In the year 2000, with 30 days of heads down, uninterrupted coding, he single-handedly created a warehouse management system for United Natural Foods, Inc. This warehouse management system ran the entire east coast division's warehouse inventory, complete with Symbol wrist mount, hand-held, and fork-lift mounted scanners for reading UPC bar codes for products and warehouse floor locations/slots and tracked all the inventory going in, out, and the exact locations in the warehouses and it was was still being used 7 years later. He will make this happen!

 

The backbone is in place, all we need is supported time to make this a reality!
